Privacy

Prismle keeps your progress on your device. We only count visits, anonymously and without cookies.

In short

• No account, no sign-in, no ads, no cookies.
• Your progress and settings stay on your device.
• We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which stores nothing on your device and doesn't follow you.
• We don't sell data or build profiles about anyone.

What stays on your device

Your settings (language, theme, sound, colour marks, sunlight), the level you are on with the stars of each level, each day's result (moves, hints, time and stars, to show your streak) and the window you are in the middle of are saved in your browser's local storage, on this device only. They are never sent anywhere. Clearing this site's data in your browser, or uninstalling the app, deletes them.

Visit counts

To know whether people play Prismle, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. When the game page loads, a small script from Cloudflare sends one report with:

• the page address and the site you came from,
• your browser, operating system and type of device,
• your country, worked out from your IP address,
• how fast the page loaded.

It doesn't use cookies or local storage, doesn't give you an ID and doesn't fingerprint your device, so a visit can't be linked to you or followed to other sites. We only see totals, such as visits per day or per country. Nothing about your game is sent: no moves, stars or streaks.

The reports are handled by Cloudflare, Inc., which may process them in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. If you block the script, for example with a content blocker, the game works exactly the same.

What Prismle doesn't do

• No account or sign-in.
• No cookies.
• No ads, no advertising profiles and no selling of data.
• No outside fonts or images. The only outside script is Cloudflare's visit counter.

Hosting

The game's files are served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web host, it may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the files and keep the service secure. After your first visit the game is stored on your device and works offline.

Sharing

When you choose Share, the picture of today's lit window and the line with your result (the date, your stars, moves and time) are made on your device and handed to your system's share sheet or clipboard. Prismle does not see where it goes.
